Meet Michelle

I'm Michelle.

I began Happy Chakras in 2014, offering solely Reiki and since then I’ve expanded to offer a range of holistic practices that support people to cultivate positivity and balance in their life.

My career has always involved supporting people whether through my work with vulnerable groups and academic students, to clients/students who come to Happy Chakras.

When I completed Reiki practitioner training, I gained experience offering Reiki at a mental health drop-in centre. I then opened my doors and heart to Happy Chakras clients. Completing Reiki Master/Teacher training was particularly special to me because I was now able to teach others to become Reiki practitioners and teachers. More recently, I became a Reiki Drum practitioner and offer 3 types of Reiki Drum healing.

My passion for holistic well-being also took me to retrain at college where I achieved VTCT qualifications in aromatherapy and reflexology. I then went on to complete other various massage therapies, and meditation tuition.

I had practiced yoga for 3 decades when I finally embarked on Yoga teacher training. This has been followed by a multitude of yoga teacher training courses to deepen my understanding and enrich my teaching of yoga.

It makes me smile to think that the first yoga class I attended all those years ago is where I now teach one of my yoga classes.

I have weekly Westhoughton Yoga classes, and a monthly Westhoughton Yin Yoga class.

I love combining my knowledge and skills with my natural creativity in delivering down-to-earth, friendly and supportive, yoga classes and workshops, hosting innovative wellbeing events locally and further afield including yoga and wellbeing weekends, private wellbeing parties and social gatherings.

During ‘me-time’ I love  walking with my dogs, especially in the mountains.
